The Fat Loaf Bistro opened its doors in December 2004 and has provided a unique dining experience to the residents and surrounding area of Ashton on Mersey. We now also provide the opportunity to purchase drinks from our menu including a selection of high quality wines.

Our A La Carte menu changes on a 6 weekly basis, using fresh local ingredients to create seasonal dishes.

The bistro has two open plan kitchens so you can watch our team of chefs creating your meal whilst you chat amongst yourselves and soak up the lively atmosphere of the restaurant.

The Fat Loaf is the perfect venue for dinner for two or large parties and can also be hired out for private functions. Service at The Fat Loaf is always professional whilst offering a very relaxed and friendly atmosphere. We hope you come and join us at the bistro soon for a Fat Loaf dining experience.
