THE FAT LOAF – Didsbury Green
The third Fat Loaf – a 100-cover restaurant and bar on the site of the former Didsbury Village Restaurant and Steak and Kebab eatery on Wilmslow Road, Didsbury Green - occupies a Grade ll listed building. It’s one of the area’s great character buildings and is among the oldest in the original centre of Didsbury’s vibrant, cosmopolitan village.
The restaurant itself has undergone a huge refurbishment in October 2008 & re opened it's doors as Fat Loaf in November 2008, it boasts a 35 seater bar/eating area with an open log fire & feature pictures from local iconic landmarks, an impressive bar with seven draught beer products & specialist Dunham Massey bottle conditioned ales.
We have a more formal dining area to the rear of the property which seats 60 covers and boasts wonderful sky lights to let in natural light.
The rear area can be used for private parties up to 60 people, and we can accomodate parties as big as 25 in the front bar area next to the fire.
Restaurant Manager Claudio Ukaj runs a large brigade and has been a fantastic face of Didsbury Green since the opening, his working background includes the famous Le Mont restaurant & Sam's Chop House, Claudio works along side chef Paul Watson who has worked in award winning restaurants such as Opus Birmingham, The Moss Nook & the Lowry 5* Hotel Manchester.
